the work was donated by Maestro Antonio Ciccone to the Community of Castagno d'Andrea
A new work enriches the small town of Castagno d'Andrea, in the municipality of San Godenzo: it is the St. Francis' Electrocution in front of the Crucifix, realized by the master Antonio Ciccone, which will be permanently placed in the Oratory of the Madonna di via of the Bourbon.
This large work, about 3 meters by 5, was donated by the artist and was the cardboard for one of the frescoes that Ciccone made in the Chapel of the Relics in the Basilica of San Francesco in Assisi.
This will make the personal exhibition of Antonio Ciccone entitled Art, Faith and Nature at the National Park Visitor Center. Thirty-four works that once again amaze and introduce us to the creative world of this international artist, expression of his extraordinary ability to get to the essence of what surrounds us, revealing the deeper aspects through the lightness of the stroke and an ethereal use of color .

The new work by Antonio Ciccone is visible at the Oratory of the Madonna - Via del Borbotto - Castagno d'Andrea. Hours 9.00-12.00; 15.00-19.00 until 9 September.
